Step 1: Open Google Analytics
Go to analytics.google.com and sign in with the Google account that owns the property.
Step 2: Navigate to Admin
Click the gear icon in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar to open the Admin panel.
Step 3: Property Access Management
Under the Property column, click Property Access Management.
Step 4: Add the User
Click the blue + button in the top-right, then select Add users.
Step 5: Enter the Email
Enter the email address of the person or agency you want to grant access to.
Step 6: Set Permissions
Select the appropriate role:
- Viewer — Can see reports but cannot change settings
- Analyst — Can create and edit shared assets
- Editor — Can manage property settings (recommended for agencies)
- Administrator — Full control (only grant if required)
For most agency partnerships, Editor access is recommended.
Step 7: Save
Click Add. The user will receive an email notification and can access the property immediately.
