Step 1: Sign Into Google Ads
Go to ads.google.com and sign in with the account owner's credentials.
Step 2: Go to Account Access
Click the Tools icon (wrench) in the top bar → Under Setup, click Access and security.
Step 3: Invite a New User
Click the blue + button, then enter the email address you want to invite.
Step 4: Choose an Access Level
- Email only — Receives email notifications only
- Read only — Can view campaigns and reports
- Standard — Can edit campaigns (recommended for agencies)
- Admin — Full account management
For agencies managing your ads, Standard is the recommended level.
Step 5: Send Invitation
Click Send invitation. The invited user will receive an email and must accept the invitation to gain access.
